Welcome to Bar & Bistro Monroe in Antwerp South, which is our 25th business and the crown to our work, during a career that has been going on for an equal amount of years. The Gentplaats is located at the border of the Old and New South. This inspired us to a selection of food and drinks, but also in the design of the venue. In collaboration with Kurt Hereygers of the design studio Not Before Ten, we created a cozy space that breathes classic elegance but also reveals modern and sassy details. Hospitality is our core value, and together with host Nicolas Janssens, chef Vadim Vesters and head bartender Yuni Herremans and their teams we make sure there’s an easy-going atmosphere in our à la carte bistro and relaxing bar. Something for everyone, here at Monroe’s: whether you are here to join us for a beer, a nice glass of wine, an exquisite cocktail, a tasteful bistro dish or an elaborate brunch. Here, in our stylish bar and bistro, and on our lovely spacious terrace, we only enjoy with a capital E.
